The Marvelous Light

I got a call this morning from a lady who wanted to schedule my interview on Monday. Please pray for me so things will go well. God is good. He provides all our needs.

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." I Peter 2:9,10

Take time to remember how He's shown mercy in our lives. May we proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into His daily-renewed grace. Introduce Him to your friends, so they too may see and feel the warmth of His marvelous light. Mention His faithfulness, how time and time again, He provides in times of need.

Some times in life we need to be reminded that we are in fact children of God. I needed this right now. Thanks.

"And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel.
